Dr. Mole, who is originally from Central Florida, began his career in veterinary medicine in middle school, working as a technician in a veterinary practice. He went to the University of Central Florida for three years, and graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009.
Dr. Mole had a special interest in research during veterinary school and had the opportunity to work as a research assistant in the department of internal medicine at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in Baton Rouge, studying ingestible wireless medical sensors (SmartPill®} in dogs. Following veterinary school he worked as an associate veterinarian in Central Florida for five years before becoming the proud owner of Seminole Animal Hospital.
Dr. Jenkins is a central Florida native, growing up in Brevard Co. Dr. Jenkins achieved her DVM degree in 1993 from the University of Florida. She spent several years in general and Emergency practice before attending an internship and residency in Emergency and Critical Care medicine in Wisconsin. After her residency she spent several years in charge of Emergency Departments at several large referral hospitals. She returned to general practice and relief service while raising her two children. She helped BCSO Animal Control division in there spay/neuter program for shelter animals before joining the Econ River Animal hospital team. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a special interest in surgery. She enjoys riding her two horses, kayaking, and watching wildlife along the Indian River with her family. She shares her house with several dogs, cats and a rabbit.
